The company’s journey began with Elora Dana A. De Guzman, whose extensive experience in government projects exposed her to the challenges faced by both the public and private sectors in achieving environmental compliance. Over the years, she played a key role in project management, environmental and social safeguards, environmental monitoring, waste management, community organizing and capacity-building initiatives, equipping her with a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and best practices in environmental sustainability.
While working closely with local government units (LGUs) and private industries, she recognized a growing need for reliable environmental consultancy services. Many companies struggled with compliance due to evolving regulations and lacked access to expert guidance. Inspired by this, she envisioned creating a consultancy firm that would bridge this gap and provide businesses with the necessary support to meet their environmental obligations.
In 2025, she took a significant step forward by collaborating with a network of highly experienced environmental consultants, each with more than 13 years of expertise in the field. These professionals, who had been actively working in environmental consultancy, partnered with her and played a crucial role in backing the establishment of RES Environmental Consultancy Services. Their collective experience in environmental impact assessments, pollution control, waste management, and regulatory compliance became the foundation of the company’s services.
With a strong team and a client-focused approach, RES was officially launched as a professional consultancy firm dedicated to providing Responsible Environmental Solutions.
